Washing Instructions
Wash Bamboo Lyocell bedding in cold water (30°C or below) on a gentle cycle. Use a mild, eco-friendly detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh chemicals. Wash separately or with similar colors to prevent color transfer.
Drying Tips
Air drying is recommended to maintain the fabric’s natural properties. Hang bedding in a shaded area to avoid direct sunlight, which can weaken fibers. If using a dryer, tumble dry on low heat and remove promptly to prevent wrinkling.
Preventing Pilling
Pilling occurs when loose fibers form small balls on the fabric's surface due to friction or improper care. While Bamboo Lyocell is naturally resistant to pilling, here’s how to further prevent it: Wash bedding inside out to reduce surface friction. Use a gentle cycle with a short washing duration. Avoid overloading the washing machine, which can cause excessive rubbing. Line dry whenever possible, as tumble drying may contribute to pilling over time. Use a fabric shaver to carefully remove any pilling that does occur.
Ironing and Storage
If ironing is needed, use a low-temperature setting (silk mode) for a smooth finish. Ensure bedding is completely dry before storing it in a cool, dry place. Avoid plastic storage bags to let the fabric breathe.
Stain Removal
Treat stains immediately with a gentle stain remover or a mixture of water and mild detergent. Dab gently—do not rub, as this can damage fibers.
General Maintenance
Rotate your bedding regularly to ensure even wear. Air out your bedding once a month to keep it fresh. Protect against dust and allergens by storing unused bedding in breathable cotton bags.
